Crystal Palace Independent Supporters Association
Since our first meeting with the club in December last year, CPISA have continued persistently to raise many issues on behalf of members and supporters with the club. Here are just some of the successes that CPISA have achieved as a direct result of our work with the club.
CPISA flagged up the difficulties fans experienced with coaches and have been working with the club to improve this. As a result coaches now leave earlier to enable them to arrive on time and drop off close to the grounds.
We raised several times that parts of the ground couldn’t see VAR messages. The club has confirmed these will now be shown on the Holmesdale LED ribbon, as shown on the main screen, so more supporters have sight of what is happening.
We raised at our meetings the issues with The Selhurst Park PA System. This has now been replaced and will be balanced to ensure everyone can hear announcements regardless of where they sit in the ground.
We raised the issues of fans being able to book specified areas of seated tickets at away games. The club have agreed that the first few rows of away seating can be designated as non standing booked via the box office. This still relies on stewards at the away ground monitoring but is a big step for those fans who need/prefer to sit.
We are proud that we have been successfully working with vulnerable Palace fans to help them access plastic season tickets where these are needed. This has meant that some fans who thought they may have to give up going to matches have been able to continue to be part of the Palace family
The safety of steps and stairs around the ground was raised by CPISA at our meetings several times. This summer a hard wearing, non-slip resin bond has been applied to all steps (apart from Main Stand) to improve their safety and visibility.
We have been working with the club to tackle touting and reduce tickets for sale at inflated prices on various websites. Last season 230 accounts were cancelled and hundreds of tickets blocked and we’ve already started working on this again this season.
At CPISA we will continue to do our best to make a positive difference for Palace fans.

We’ve created a small number of limited edition CPISA badges. These will be available to members first and then on general sale. We'll be in contact with members shortly with more details.

We'll let you know when we set the date of the next meeting. There will be a countdown on our home page.
